Terms of service
Last updated 2026-09-19
Who you are contracting with
Botseon is the name this service is sold under. Your contract is with Nordio ApS, a Danish company, CVR 46714040, Skansevej 88, 3400 Hillerød, Denmark. "We" and "us" below mean that company; "you" means the person or the organisation that holds the account.
These terms apply when you use Botseon. If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement wins wherever the two disagree.
The service
Botseon gives every member of your organisation bots: workers with a job description, a computer of their own, and access to the tools you grant them. A bot reads what you connect it to, does the work you ask for, and asks you before it does anything you have told it to ask about.
Accounts and organisations
An account belongs to one person and is not to be shared. An organisation groups accounts together and holds the plan, the billing relationship and the bots.
- An organisation always has at least one owner. Owners and administrators invite members, set roles, and remove people.
- Removing a member ends their access immediately. What their bots produced stays with the organisation.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract in your own country to hold an account.
Plans and prices
Prices are in euro and exclude VAT. VAT is worked out for your own country and status when you check out: Danish customers pay 25%, EU business customers with a valid VAT number are reverse charged, EU consumers pay their own country's rate, and there is no EU VAT outside the EU.
| Plan | Price | Billed | Weekly allowance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | n/a | 350 credits |
| Pro | €30 / month | per member | 2,000 credits |
| Pro+ | €100 / month, or €1,000 / year | per member | 8,000 credits |
| Team | €30 / seat / month | per seat | 3,000 credits |
| Enterprise | on contract | n/a | agreed in the contract |
A credit is one euro cent of model usage at the published price of the route your bot used. The allowance is weekly and resets at the same point each week; a plan's allowance can change between versions, and a change takes effect at the next weekly reset, never in the middle of one.
If you subscribe through Apple's or Google's app store, the store's own price applies (Pro €25.99 a month, Pro+ €77.99 a month) and the store's rules govern refunds and cancellation, not this page. Annual, Team and Enterprise plans are only sold on the web.
Hitting your allowance stops new work for you and for nobody else, and it resumes by itself at the next weekly reset. A hard cap on spending beyond the allowance is on by default, so a plan cannot run up a bill past what it allows unless someone deliberately raises the ceiling.
We can change prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a plan you already hold, and you can cancel before it does.
The trial
Each organisation gets one trial, once. It gives you 1,000 credits, about €10 of model usage at list price, to spend inside a 7-day window. It needs a card on file, and a card that has already been used for a trial is refused for a second one.
Unused trial credit is not restored, not carried over and not refunded. You can cancel the trial at any time, which ends it and zeroes the remainder.
Paying, cancelling and refunds
Payment runs through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
Cancel from the billing portal, reached from Settings → Usage & Billing. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: your bots keep working until then, and you are not charged again.
We do not refund a period that has already started, and we do not refund unused allowance. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract; because the service starts immediately at your request, that right is reduced to the part you have not used. If you think you have been charged in error, write to us and we will look at it.
If a payment fails, we retry it and tell you. Access to new work pauses until the payment goes through; your data is not deleted because of a failed payment.
Your content and your bots
Everything your bots read, remember and send stays yours. We do not claim any ownership of it, and we do not use it to train models, ours or anyone else's.
You are the controller for the people your bots read about, remember and contact; we are the processor for that content and act on your organisation's instructions. We are the controller only for our own account, billing and security data. The Data processing addendum is the contract for the processor half, and it applies automatically: you do not have to sign anything separately.
You are responsible for having the right to connect what you connect, and for telling the people your bots deal with what they are entitled to be told. We will hand you an assessment template if your bots remember people who are not members of your organisation.
Acceptable use
Do not use Botseon, or have a bot use it, to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or run a bot as a spam or scam operation;
- impersonate a real person or organisation, or strip out the AI disclosure so that a recipient thinks a bot is a person;
- harass, threaten or stalk anyone, or build a profile of someone in order to do any of that;
- handle someone's personal data without a legal basis for it, or feed a bot data you were not allowed to collect;
- make automated decisions about a person that have a legal or similarly significant effect on them, without the human review the law requires of you;
- break into, overload, scan or probe systems you have not been authorised to test;
- produce sexual content involving children, or content that exists to incite violence against people;
- resell the service, share one account between people, or work around your plan's limits, the hard cap, or the approval controls;
- reverse-engineer the service or use it to build a directly competing product.
These are also the rules for what your members ask their bots to do: a bot acting on an instruction is you acting.
The controls you cannot turn off
Some safeguards are part of the product and stay on:
- Approval before it matters. Actions in the high-risk set always raise a card for a person to answer, and cannot be set to run automatically. A run that has read untrusted content is marked, and what it is then allowed to do narrows.
- An automatic reviewer checks each action before a saved "allow automatically" rule can release it, and falls back to asking a person if it cannot decide.
- AI disclosure. Every message a bot sends outside your organisation says it came from a bot, and you cannot suppress it. Generated images carry provenance metadata, and a public post carries its own disclosure.
If you break these rules
We can suspend an account, a bot or an organisation if it is breaking these rules or putting the service or other customers at risk. Except where the risk is immediate, we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it first. If we suspend you, you can still get your data out.
Availability and changes
We try to keep Botseon running and we do not promise a specific uptime figure on these plans. An Enterprise contract can carry one. We take the service down for maintenance when we have to, and announce it ahead of time when we can.
Bots depend on other companies' models, and a model route can change or stop being available. We will keep an equivalent route where we can.
We will tell you at least 30 days before a change to these terms that affects you, and before a change that removes a feature you rely on. Carrying on using Botseon after a change means you accept it; if you do not, cancel before it takes effect.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence, and fraud.
Otherwise, and to the extent Danish law allows: neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or the cost of substitute services. Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and where you paid us nothing, to €1,000.
We are not liable for what a bot produces or does on your instruction, for what you connect a bot to, or for the acts of the model providers listed on the Sub-processors page beyond our own obligations as processor. A bot's output is generated, can be wrong, and is not professional advice, so check it before you act on it.
Our liability for personal data is governed by the Data processing addendum and by the GDPR, not by the cap above.
Termination and deletion
You can stop using Botseon at any time, and delete your account from Settings → General.
We can end this contract on 30 days' notice, or immediately if you are in serious breach of the acceptable-use rules. If we end it for our own convenience, we refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for.
When an organisation is deleted, its data is hidden at once and permanently removed after a 7-day grace period, which exists so that an accidental deletion can be undone. There is no grace period for an individual's erasure request. Export what you want to keep before you delete.
Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to their conflict-of-laws rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
Disputes go to the Danish courts, starting at Retten i Hillerød. If you are a consumer, this does not take away a right you have to bring a claim where you live.
